Clark College Funding Inc. offers a service module that addresses a wide variety of college planning issues for your family. It is designed to take the stress out of the college planning and funding process, while achieving significant financial results for our parents . We have added additional services to our module throughout the years because they were requested and suggested by our current clients. Our Platinum Package is now the most comprehensive module to date. Our parents and their children can now can relax and enjoy their children's high school years, while the weight and uncertainty of the college process and college funding is removed .

Platinum Package

CCF works hands-on with your family, in which we try to achieve two main objectives. First, we want make sure your child attends a college that is the “right fit.” Secondly, we want to reduce the cost of college and have a personalized plan to pay for all your children to attend college without going broke.

We Have Your Child Complete a Career Search – Very few high school students know exactly what career they would like to pursue. All students need to know what careers are available to them, several career choices, careers they will like and enjoy, and careers in which they will excel. This is the fist step in helping your child find the best college for them. If you child attends the wrong college initially or decides to transfer to another college because of a change in major you will be increasing the cost of college dramatically.

We Complete a College Search with a Telephone Counseling Session – There are approximately 3,000 colleges and universities in North America and finding the right fit for your child can be overwhelming. While we have great local colleges to choose from, you will want to make sure your child has all the available options for them to determine which ones are the best fit for them academically, socially, location, etc… Wouldn't it be helpful to know which schools meet you and your child's criteria and which one's they qualify for? Having an experienced College Counselor to guide you through this process is a big time saver for your family.

SAT and ACT Test Prompter Courses – These are very important tests for the admission process. These are online prompter courses to help your child prepare and understand the test better. If studied, these prompter courses have proven to increase the test scores. By being on-line, they allow flexibility in your child's daily routine in preparing for these tests.

We Complete All Financial Aid Forms – We work primarily with successful professionals and business owners who do not have the time to complete these forms. Over the years, our parents have had difficulty with the tedious task of submitting these forms, making sure not to miss each college specific deadlines, and the monotonous task of making sure different financial aid forms are accurate and the numbers correspond on each of the different forms. They have found that this can be a complicated and overwhelming task. Moreover, the Department of Education stated that 90% of the FASFA forms are filled out with errors or inconsistencies. We will complete the FASFA form, we will register you for the Financial Aid Profile, we will complete the Financial Aid Profile form, we will complete the institutional forms, the business supplement form, divorce forms, and we will confirm the accuracy of the Student Aid Report(SAR) for you.

Loan Counseling – With the abundance of college loan companies, the complexity of the loans, and the many different college and personal loans available to families, we will help you make the best financial decision in determining which loan is the best for your family.(Government student loans, variable interest rate, fixed interest rate, subsidized, unsubsidized, consolidated, non-consolidated, payment terms, payment conditions, etc…)

Review the College's Financial Aid Award Letters – Will you know if you received a good award letter? We will take a “hands-on” approach in working with you and the colleges to maximize your financial aid award.

Expected Family Contribution – Do you know what the government and the colleges expect you to pay on a yearly basis for college? Wouldn't it be great to know accurately what this number is for your family? Much like how a CPA can help you put some strategies in place to reduce your taxes; we might be able to suggest some legal and ethical strategies to reduce this number to maximize your financial aid eligibility.

College Tracking List – This is a list to let you know what we are doing and when we will be completing the multiple tasks throughout the year. It will have specific dates listed for only your family when we anticipate completion of each step. It is a plan of action and an accountability list .

Plan to Pay for College – Together we will complete a personalized written plan to pay for college for all of your children. Since all client planning needs are treated as unique, this plan is custom designed in each particular situation to create specific solutions for each family.

Complete Customer Service – We pride ourselves in having great customer service. We have a well educated staff for support that can advise on any situation during the financial aid process. We guarantee prompt response to any telephone call, email or other forms of communication. We have a toll-free phone and local telephone numbers.

Members Only Website and Bi-Monthly Newsletter – We will keep you informed with the latest news about colleges in our newsletter. Our website is a great resource to be utilized by all family members to answer any questions concerning college.

OUR PROCESS:

We offer an initial free consultation that gives you the opportunity to ask questions and get enough relevant information so you can make an informed decision about whether working with Clark College Funding Inc. is a good match for you. This consultation is also obligation-free because we are proud of providing the best service to clients who will get the most value. We do not take on clients if we feel that what we provide is not a good match with what you need.

If you make the decision to work with us, we set up regular meetings - mostly done one-on-one; where we initially assess what your Expected Family Contribution is today and comprehensive data gathering. We then work with you to analyze this number and to identify opportunities to reduce the cost of college. We then begin work with your child on the Career Search and schedule a time when the family can speak with the College Counselor.

The second step begins with us creating a model of your estimated college cost, teaching you about the current College Admission and Aid climate, and clearly developing your college planning objectives. We also take your personal needs and concerns into consideration as these will largely determine how your college financial plan is structured.

In the third step, we present the strategic college financial plan that we have agreed will help you best achieve your college planning goals . Each plan is custom designed and all of our recommendations are in writing.

We then begin the implementation process . Here's where we help ensure that your college financial plan is put into action and that each component is professionally coordinated and fully integrated.
